  • Portcullis, Pub of the Year (South) Presentation Wednesday 7 June 2023

    Pubs Officer, Graeme Ross presented the team at The Portcullis, Stirling their well deserved certificate for being our Pub of the Year in the South of the branch. Congratulations to the team. It was well deserved. Thanks for your hospitality and warm welcome.

    Congratulations again to The Black Bull, Gartmore. Our #CAMRA Rural Pub Of The Year (POTY) Our Thirstday Quenchers enjoyed some lovely real ale (and food) while we presented them with their well-deserved award today.

  • Forth Valley Pub of the Year Presentation to The Corbie Inn, Bo'ness Sunday 14 May 2023

    On Saturday our local local MSP, Michelle Thomson and Branch Chairman, Stuart Batchelor presented the award for Forth Valley CAMRA Pub of The Year to Gail for the Corbie Inn Bo'ness.

    A large contingent of members joined in with a celebratory Social at the Pub.

    Well done to all.

  • Larbert Beer Festival Charity Presentation Wednesday 10 May 2023

    Thanks for all your donations to KLSB Community Group during our 12th Larbert CAMRA Real Ale and Cider Festival You raised over £650 which was presented today by Branch Chair Stuart, Treasurer Ian and volunteer (and organising committee member) George. Thanks again If you’d like to volunteer for the next #CAMRA real ale festival in Alloa in November, please get in touch.

  • Best Newcomer Award Volunteer Arms, Tillicoultry. Wednesday 22 February 2023

    Tony Lamb on behalf of Forth Valley CAMRA branch presented, New Real Ale Pub of The Year 2022 to The Volunteer Arms Tillicoultry.

    After coaxing and advice from several members, the Volunteer Arms, Tillicoultry started serving one Real Ale at weekends in early 2022. This quickly took off and are now serving two ales 7-days a week. A real achievement that has gone down well with members and others.

    This pub now joins the other two Tillicoultry Real Ale pubs, The Royal and Woolpack in an oasis of fine Real Ale venues.

    The presentation was admirably supported by large branch representation.

    Branch Chair, Ian Young, congratulating staff at the Royal Arms, Tillicoultry, on being included in the 2023 #CAMRA Good Beer Guide. The publication is the 50th edition and lists the best real ale pubs nationwide. Congratulations

    The presentation of the South Pub of The Year took and Good Beer guide pack place tonight by Ian Young. Members of the Branch visited Platform 3 Linlithgow to make the presentation and were warmly welcomed.

    The presentation of the North Pub of The Year took place earlier today by Stuart Batchelor. Members of the Branch visited the Mansfield Arms, Sauchie to make the presentation and were warmly welcomed.

    The presentation of the Rural Pub of The Year took place earlier today. Members of the Branch - Wednesday Wanderers - visited the Inn At Muckhart to make the presentation. Tony Lamb and Brian Cheeseman presented award.

    Congratulations to our CAMRA Forth Valley Pub of the Year 2022 Tappit Hen, Dunblane.

    The Tappit Hen is a well deserved winner, having provided a consistently high standard of real ale over the years and done much to advance the cause of real ale in our area.

    Fourth place by The Mansfield Arms, Sauchie



    Fifth place by The Wheatsheaf Inn, Falkirk
